26 Nov Supreme Court to hear cases that could potentially be precedent setting concerning graft

The Supreme Court will be hearing two cases involving public graft, and can potentially better define rules that make special interest influences on elections legal or illegal. Looking at our own issues in Vallejo. The give away of 157 acres of land on North Mare Island to a developer, special interests and the City pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars into the Measure P tax measure which blurred the lines between what is information and what is advocacy of voting yes on a tax that directly benefits advocates of yes on P that are employees, their unions, and sitting council members (They receive paid stipends from the general fund).
